Group Bookings

We are happy to take group bookings, and will often give a discount for larger numbers or can arrange
special details at no extra cost. The maximum number of people who can do one activity at the same time is
limited however by the environment in which they take place, equipment, safety standards and government rules regarding social distancing.

should include cover of cancellation charges, emergency medical expenses etc, and for overseas customers,
repatriation in case of illness or injury. Please also see note on safety below.

We will not be liable for loss or damage to your luggage or personal effects, unless caused by our negligence.

Hire Terms and Conditions

River Deep Mountain High is not responsible for the use of the equipment. We only provide equipment to be used under the skills and abilities of the hirer, we require no proof of ability and offer no advice or instruction in the use of the equipment and how they are to be used.

The hirer acknowledges that stand up paddling and open water swimming is an activity with inherent risks of injury to persons and property. The hirer must be aware of those risks and understand them. River Deep Mountain High requires all paddleboard hirers to wear a Buoyancy Aid at all times while on the water. The hirer understands the dangers of paddling on tidal or still water, swimming in cold water and understands that weather can play a factor in paddling safety and that such activities are subject to the unpredictable forces of nature.

The hirer agrees to return the items on the stated day in the condition in which I received them. Any damaged equipment will be charged for at full retail price for replacement or repair if deemed appropriate, regardless of how damage was caused.

River Deep Mountain High acts in good will when hiring out equipment and as such expects such from the hirer. We reserve the right to withdraw and collect our equipment at any point and for any reason during a hire period.

The hirer is satisfied with the serviceable condition of the equipment.

River Deep Mountain High will not provide instruction or advice on the use or location best suited to the hirer’s group.

Safety

All guides/instructors are hand picked and fully qualified with internationally recognized awards. We have full
public liability insurance and pride ourselves on our safety record. Your enjoyment and safety during the
holiday will always be our first priority, however, we must make you aware that all outdoor activities do
involve a certain degree of risk due to the wild environment and we cannot be responsible for any personal illness or injury during a
event unless it arises from negligence on our part.

We reserve the right to refuse to escort anyone whose lack of fitness or inadequate attire is deemed to compromise
their personal safety or causes a problem to
the rest of the group. Lack of fitness can include being under the
influence of alcohol, it does not include disabilities made known to us in advance.

All medical conditions or weaknesses should be made known to us prior to the commencement of any activity – please
make sure all particpants you are booking for are aware of this. It is unlikely to affect whether anybody can participate in an activity but may affect how an activity is provided and/or how an instructor deals with an emergency situation should one arise.

During activities, the instructions of the guide/instructor should be adhered to by all participants and the
group should always stay together, unless instructed otherwise.

We will not be liable for loss or damage to your luggage or personal effects, unless caused by our negligence.
Any items placed into equipment provided by RiverDeepMountainHigh are done so at the participant’s risk.
