Another great summer of Outdoor Adventure

Can you believe we are already half way through September? I blinked and the summer was over!

It may not have been the sunniest of summers, but we made the most of what we had, and it would seem that our groups enjoyed themselves, too.

Here’s some of the great feedback we’ve recieved. Thank you all so much for making it another great summer of fun!

Went gorge walking with my friend and our 2 ten year old girls last friday. It was an ace experience… scarey at times but Johan kept us laughing all the way!! Brilliant family day out!!

Rather than individual comments for the categories above I can give an overall comment: we loved all three activities for different reasons. Emma was a calm teacher and combined attention to safety with fun very nicely for our group of kids and adults. Johan was a similarly calm, careful and encouraging guide for our canoeing and gorge-walking. We had a great time, from the archery Holiday Game to the beautiful gorge and swimming into a waterfall (!) to the fantastic day on Coniston. Everything felt like a facilitated family day out rather than a forced ‘activity’, and we felt you both managed to please children and adults- no easy feat!

Thank you so much for 2 lovely days. we hope to return.

We went ghyll scrambling / gorge walking for my Stag party. It was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The perfect balance of safety and fun was achieved seamlessly. Everyone found it the perfect hangover cure and way to start off day 2 of the stag. Highly recommended. Meet and Greet – Johan always has a huge smile on his face when he sees us. The girls just love him!!

Activity Experience (Pitch, Kit, Content)- Perfect, especially as Holly was struggling this year. Johan gave us the option of changing our activities to suit her & went at her pace. She had an absolute ball – looking for higher rocks to jump from into Coniston next year!

Overall Value for Money – We keep coming back so I think that in itself answers this question. Well equipped, safety &; fun are key oh, &; the hot chocolate is always amazing!! We worked out that your half day activities for the four of us is cheaper than two hours at Go Ape !!

AWESOME humbling day out gorgewalking, and abseiling & jumping into the quarry in the Lake Distrct yesterday with River Deep Mountain High and the Brummi Lads. Change of plan from where we was first going due to the weather front coming in. This pic is usually an easy trickle of a gorge to clamber! Certainly makes you appreciate the force of Mother Nature, and the power of water!! Facinating watching the rising water levels from the beginning of the day where we started, to seeing it raging at the end of the day WOW!! Thanks to Johan and Tom looking after us! FUN CRAZY TIMES!!

Activity Experience (Pitch, Kit, Content)= 5 – Kit excellent and good condition. Activity was a real challenge for me (due to weather conditions and me being a little shortypants!), but had a fab time and felt safe and supported all the way through.

Fantastic company, Johann was brilliant with the kids, who were trying activities for the first time and were both nervous, the organising the knowledge and the experience was one the kids will always remember. Already planning to book activities for 2017.

I was very apprehensive before this trip and particularly so on the day as we’d had torrential rain the night before and the river conditions were ‘challenging’ to say the least. But we had an absolute ball! Great kit and superb guiding throughout. I felt challenged, but able to trust our guides completely, which let’s face it, is what it’s all about!

Can’t recommend this company enough for value for money and professionalism!

Dear all at RDMH

I certainly will fill out the form when we are back home and have better wifi! Just to let you all know though, we had a fantastic time doing your activities!

The archery was great fun, the gorge walking was beautiful, thrilling and terrifying at times!

The canoeing/ sailing was ideal for young and not so young! Beautiful scenery, and what a wonderful way to see it!

The girls are already asking when we can come back again, and genuinely I think we will be back very soon and do your activities again!

Both Andy and I had a fantastic experience. Johan our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and the history added another interest to our activity. The scenery was stunning and although we know the Lakes fairly well we would not have seen this on our own. Thank you very much.

PS the hot chocolate was great!
