Lake District Activity Holiday feedback from May/June 2014

Lake District Family Activity Holiday feedback – May & June

Cass Tynan – Gorge Walking, Kayaking and Archery

I can’t recommend you enough really – excellent value for money, really well organised and most importantly loads of FUN! All the staff and instructors were helpful and friendly. Our main instructor was Will – he figured us all out pretty quickly and worked with us individually so we all got the best out of the activity – he also brought a good sense of humour to the whole experience! I hope to be back again at some point for more activities . . . (I feel like I should also make an obligatory hot chocolate comment – it’s a proper treat when you’re cold and wet – especially when halfway up a gorge!) Thanks :o)

Everyone had a fantastic time and I cannot fault the experience in anyway.  It was perfect for those both with and without outdoor experience and people are still talking about it.  Thank you for such a great time!

Excellent, very organised, polite, professional, good company and good fun! Child friendly.
I felt the activities were led by what we wanted to get out of it, very flexible, perfect.
Overall Value for Money
I thought it sounded expensive at first but when compared to simply hiring a canoe or kayak on the lake it was very good value. Particularly as you are very well looked after, hot chocolate especially nice!
And finally, any other comments
As none outdoor people I was rather apprehensive, but it was absolutely brilliant, thoroughly enjoyed it and felt we had achieved something worthwhile. Our 2 young children had a ball and were kept in line.

Heather Crompton – Lorton Primary School: Archery

It was a great venue for us, worked well for the children and and had a well equipped kitchen which made our self catering easier. It was a good base to do the other activities we had planned, but the archery was a bonus. Thanks
